Ken returns to Haylon College for another year after time in the Elven World. The college environment has shifted significantly: attitudes toward training have changed, and a Naga attack has altered priorities across the world. Ken and his classmates now face intensified pressure as the big four colleges move away from focusing on student survival toward pushing students harder and allowing the strongest to excel. Ken's challenges are compounded by a new threat. A monster with no record in existing documentation has begun stalking him through the dungeon. The solution to this problem may be connected to Crimson's past.
