The List

After ten years away, Brent Walker returns to Concord, a small town in central Georgia near the Savannah River. He takes a job as assistant general counsel at Southern Republic Pulp and Paper Company and comes home to care for his ailing mother, two years after his father's death. For decades, Southern Republic has been the economic foundation of Concord, providing employment and stability for the community. However, when a cryptic list surfaces, Brent begins to uncover the town's hidden reality. The company's prosperity rests on a secretive and deadly cost-control system known only to its three owners. One owner, Christopher Bozin, has experienced a change of conscience and orchestrated Brent's return to help expose the truth.
