Bumbling wizard Rincewind and hapless tourist Twoflower continue their epic journey across the Discworld, only to face a new threat: a red star hurtling directly toward the world. As the first tourist ever to visit Discworld—accompanied by his carnivorous Luggage—Twoflower finds his vacation extended under dire circumstances. The Discworld needs a hero to prevent total destruction, but instead has Rincewind, still recovering from the trauma of falling off the world's edge. With nothing going right, the situation appears uncertain at best. This is the second book in the Wizards collection of Discworld novels. The series can be read in any order, though The Light Fantastic follows The Color of Magic.
