About this book

FBI agent Kate Hayden is called back to San Antonio, the site of her violent past, to investigate a brutal murder that bears the hallmarks of the Samaritan, a serial killer she previously caught. A second body surfaces, killed in a manner identical to a different case from Kate's past. As the investigation deepens, Kate and Mazur realize they are facing an enemy with intimate knowledge of Kate. The closer they get to the killer, the more apparent it becomes that in this case, nothing can be taken at face value.
