About this book

Gary Thorn, a legal assistant, meets a woman at a pub while out with his coworker Brendan. Before he can learn her name, she leaves, but Gary notices the book she was reading: The Clementine Complex. When Brendan subsequently goes missing, Gary sets out to find the woman—whom he now calls Clementine—hoping she can provide answers. Gary's search takes him through the estates and pie shops of South London as he pursues his quest for information, and perhaps for love and excitement along the way. The story features a cast of distinct characters and unfolds as a mystery.
