Of Monsters and Mainframes

Demeter is a spaceship AI whose job is to transport humans between Earth and Alpha Centauri. When her passengers begin dying under mysterious circumstances, she discovers the deaths are paranormal murders caused by an ancient vampire who has boarded her vessel. To avoid decommissioning, Demeter must work with her team of unusual allies: a werewolf, an engineer constructed from the dead, a pharaoh with otherworldly abilities, a vampire with a personal vendetta, and a fleet of spider drones. Together they confront Dracula. The novel combines elements of pulp horror and classic science fiction, following this diverse crew as they face an ultimate threat while exploring what it means to be considered monstrous by society and the various forms of friendship that connect them.
