Invisible Planets: An Anthology of Contemporary Chinese SF in Translation

This anthology collects thirteen contemporary Chinese science fiction stories in translation, selected and edited by Ken Liu. The collection includes two stories by Cixin Liu and "Folding Beijing" by Hao Jingfang, which received Hugo and Sturgeon award nominations. The stories represent diverse voices in Chinese SF, with some having won awards, received critical recognition, or appeared in Year's Best anthologies; others were chosen as editor Ken Liu's personal selections. The collection features works by Chen Qiufan, Xia Jia, Ma Boyong, Hao Jingfang, Tang Fei, Cheng Jingbo, and Liu Cixin. It also includes three essays by Chinese scholars and authors examining Chinese science fiction, along with an introduction by Ken Liu.
