This manhua (comic) adaptation of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu's danmei novel follows Xie Lian, a twice-banished god who ascends to godhood for a third time. Once the darling of the heavens, Xie Lian is now infamous for his fall from grace. Eight hundred years have passed since his mortal life as Crown Prince of Xianle, and he has become the laughingstock of the three realms. His third ascension causes an uproar among his divine peers, though he now has no followers, little power, and less luck. To repay his heavenly debts, Xie Lian descends to the Mortal Realm to hunt ghosts that prey upon the living. There he encounters a mysterious stranger whose true nature—friend, foe, or something else—remains unclear. The art is by STA Rember, and the webcomic was produced by BILIBILI COMICS. This English print edition is the first official release and includes the prologue and episodes 1–14 of the original webcomic based on the webnovel Tian Guan Ci Fu.
