Dark River Inn : A Troubled Spirits Novel

Dark River Inn is the first in a series of stand-alone haunted mysteries inspired by true crimes. Dan, a detective on leave, rents a desolate cabin in the mountains to escape his past on the day of his ex-wife's wedding. While looking through a telescope, he witnesses a young woman being violently seized and dragged into the forest. Desperate to help, Dan searches for evidence of the abduction, but finds nothing. Law enforcement has no reports, and the forest yields no trace of the crime. His only lead comes from a tattered missing person's poster bearing the face of Ivy Trent—the woman he saw taken.
