He now works in the Engineering Corps and has joined the Black Mountain Battalion for a new mission. The battalion is tasked with recovering a lost mine in the wilderness. However, the unit is severely understaffed, the Exlian are numerous and aggressive, corruption threatens back in New Emery, and other enemies beyond the aliens pose additional dangers. Mark must rapidly increase his abilities to survive, though greater power comes with its own complications.
