About this book

The narrator once harbored romantic feelings for Felix Caine, her brother's best friend, but believed she had moved past them. When Felix returns and asks for her help writing a romantic article, she finds herself spending increasing time with him and reconnecting with the reasons she was initially drawn to him. Felix is now her friend as well as her brother's friend. Though he claims he will never fall in love, the narrator occasionally notices his gaze suggesting something deeper than friendship. A spark exists between them that wasn't present before. The narrator must decide whether to follow her heart, knowing it means risking her feelings in the relationship.
